Cabinet Meeting :EPF Support for Businesses extended for Three More Months

Union Minister Mr. Prakash Javadekar said that All Poor, Class Labourers, Migrant Workers, and Self Employed people have benefited from Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana. All sections of people have highly welcomed this scheme. Even Migrant Labourers were also included so that they receive benefits under this scheme.

Minister is briefing the Cabinet meeting information said that the Central government is extending their EPF support for Businesses and Workers for three more months. The government has issued a Kisan Credit card to 7.5 million farmers. More than 74 million women will get free cylinders under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme till September.

Cabinet also approves the Development of Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (AHRC)for Urban migrants and Poor people. The government is going to set up an Agriculture fund of Rs 1 Trillion to improve Infra, logistics in the Agriculture Sector. Cabinet also approves extension of time limit for availing benefits of "Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana" for Ujjwala beneficiaries by 3 months w.e.f  01.07.20. 

Government is planning to give ready to live houses to migrant workers on rent in over 100 cities according to this scheme. Agriculture has been a special focus in Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Package. Cabinet Approves the distribution of free food-grain till November.
