"India-Pakistan Bilateral talks will open a new chapter of peace and development in the region" Says Sushma Swaraj

External Minister Sushmaswaraj says "The Bilateral Talks between India and Pakistan will open a new chapter of peace and development in the region ". Addressing both the houses of parliament the minister said there were two aims of the dialogue Addressing the issues concerning the dialogue and also establishing the cooperative relations. She makes a statement on her visit to Pakistan she said "comprehensive bilateral dialogue" between India and Pakistan foreign secretaries will start and they will work on modalities of new dialogue.

" The new dialogue, we sincerely hope,  marks a new beginning also for a peace and development in both the regions" She said. Both India and Pakistan condemned terrorism and resolved to cooperate with menace.There we dwelt on the need of Pakistan to expedite the Mumbai terrorist attack trial.She also emphasized to speed up the judicial process in 2008 Mumbai terror attacks by Pakistan terrorists.

India government accords the highest priority to the country's security and will take necessary steps to meet the threats.At the same time we are also committed in building peaceful and cooperative relations with neighbouring nations.

The Minister said her meetings with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif  and his adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz in Islamabad  were held against the backdrop of "Positive Developments"of the talks earlier between the two national security advisers in Bangkok.
