"Climate Justice Paris agreement signed deal,a symbol of victory" Says Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the climate justice change Paris agreement signed deal is a symbol of victory and we are all working towards the greener future.The Outcome of this agreement has no winners or losers.

He appreciated how each and every country rose to the challenge for reaching the agreement at CoP-21 ( Conference of Parties) and shown at the historic agreement signed by 195 countries reached after different tough deliberations was reached  collective wisdom of the world leaders to mitigate climate change.

Narendra Modi also argued that India being the world's third biggest carbon emitting country needed to continue burning cheap and plentiful coal rising out of poverty. Richer nations should also make deeper and faster cut in their emissions.

He also expressed that legally-binding pact which seeks to limit global warming to "well below" 2 degrees Celsius and making developed nations commit $100 billion a year from 2020 to help developing countries.as climate change remains a challenge ."This Paris agreements demonstrates how each and every nation rose to the challenge and working towards the solution" PM Said."

Just before the 31-page document was finalised, French President François Hollande, who hosted the conference, called up Modi to apprise him of the latest status at the talks.The Prime Minister appreciated this gesture of French President," a PMO statement said.

India’s environment minister hailing it as “a new chapter of hope in the lives of seven billion people on the planet”. “We have today reassured this future generation that we all together will mitigate the challenge posed by climate change and will give them a better Earth,” Prakash Javadekar said.
