Johny Bairstows blazzing ton helps England with thrilling win in the second test

England batter Johny Bairstow scored the second fastest century against Newzealand in the Test cricket on Tuesday. Bairstow has achieved this feat during the second test of the three match series against Newzealand .

Bairstow smashed  a wonderful century in the fourth innings of the game in just 77 balls and outclassed the record of current England Skipper Ben Stokes. The record for the fastest Test Century for England was under the name of Gilbert Jessop against Australia in 1902 at the Oval Stadium.

Bairstow and Skipper Ben Stokes Shined with the bat, helping England to clinch the series victory against Newzealand. England chased down the challenging target of 299 with five wickets and more than 20 overs to spare.Chasing 299, England was not off a good start. 

At one stage they were 93/4 and then on Bairstow and Stokes took the control of the game.They smashed the kiwi bowlers all the ground and Bairstow was at another level completing his century in Just 77 balls. The 179 stand between skipper Stokes and Bairstow was finally broken by Trent Boult, who dismissed Bairstow for 136 off 92 balls consisting of 14 fours and 7 sixes. Stokes carried on and won the game for England scoring 75 off 70 balls with 10 fours and 4 sixes. Wicket keeper batter Ben Foakes was unbeaten at 12.
