BJP and PDP shares equal distribution of power in the J&K Government formation

Bharatiya Janata Party and People's Democratic party should get equal share in power in Jammu & Kashmir Government under the leader ship of chief minister Mehbooba Mufti. BJP and PDP are having almost equal number and hence BJP is expecting equitable share in the distribution of Power in J&K.

BJP & PDP alliance was asked to form the government in the state last saturday by the Governor and the Swearing date is yet to be finalized. The PDP has 27 MLA's and BJP has 25 MLA's in the 87 member state assembly.

In the Council of Ministers PDP had 14 Ministers and BJP had 10 Ministers. Earlier BJP and PDP had formed the Government in the march with Mohammad Mufti syed as Chief Minister and BJP's Nirmal Singh as Deputy.
