Tax payers who earn more than 10 Lakh Annually will not get subsidized LPG

Central government on Monday announced that Tax Payers who earn more than 10 Lakh Annually will not get subsidy LPG Gas cylinder any more. The Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan  said  "Government has decided to give subsidy to poor people who need it the most and  for Tax payers who are getting more than 10 Lakh per year will not get subsidy from January 2016 Onwards".

Consumers are entitled to get 12 Cylinders per year at cheaper rates. More than 12 they have to pay the market price.Out of 16 Crore LPG Consumers in the country 57 lakh people have voluntarily give up the LPG Subsidy.As a part of the Government's campaign PM Narendra Modi urged MP's, MLA's ,Ministers,IAS and IPS officers to give up the LPG subsidy.

More than  one crore people will benefit from this subsidy give it campaign who are still dependent on kerosene,coal, fuel-wood for the cooking purpose.Due to fall in oil prices The prices of subsidized LPG Cylinder and Non Subsidized LPG Cylinder from the past one year has narrowed down significantly.
