No Interviews for Junior level posts in Government of India from next year

The Department of Personal and Training(DoPT) to secretaries of all Government of Ministries said " From January 1 2016 there will be no interviews for junior level of posts in Government of India in all departments,subordinate offices,autonomous bodies and Public Sector Undertakings.

The Future requirements will not have interviews" .Skill sets or Physical tests may continue as usual and Assessments will not be done on the basis of marks and the discontinuation of Interviews by December 31st has to be adhered strictly.

The Ministry or department of Government of India wants ti undertake the interview process as a part of recruitment.The detailed consolidated report which comprises of Name and Number of Posts where the interview is discontinued  and for which posts the exemption is required ,of DoPT will be sent before January 7th to Ministers-in-charge for the approval.

The Department of Public enterprises asked the ministries to advise various Public Sector Undertakings to look in to revised mechanism of recruitment of various level of Executive posts by dispensing the practice of interview.
