New Zealand Captain Brendon Mccullum to retire from International cricket in February
New Zealand Dashing Batsman and Skipper Brendon Mccullum will retire from all forms of International cricket on February.He announced his retirement in Christchurch a day after New Zealand won the test series against Srilanka 2-0.
The Home series against Australia in February 2016 is the final series for him.He is going to play his 100th test against Australia in Wellington from February 12th 2016. He is the first player to play 100 consecutive tests from debut.The second and final test of the series will start from February 20th in Christchurch.

Mccullum is also going to miss Twenty20 worldcup which is about to start in India from March.Kane williamson is going to take the captaincy from him.Mccullum said he would have preferred to reveal his retirement after the series against Australia but impending announcement of Twenty20 world cup squad has forced him to announce his retirement.
He also expressed his happiness and wonderful experience to play for his country as a player and also as a captain .He told there is enough time and place at the end of the career and at present he will focus the attention to helping the team focus on what's coming up for next few months and making sure NewZealand will be in best possible shape in a challenging summer.
Mccullum has stepped in to New Zealand Captain from Ross Taylor in 2013.He formulated New Zealand a successful team with an aggressive brand of Cricket and makes highest percentage of wins (11 Wins in 29 matches) as a captain .He also equaled the undefeated home streak of 13 tests
