Google will bring Internet Connectivity to 100 railway stations across the country by 2016 Google CEO SundarPichai said today. " As apart of US based firms,We are primarily focus on bringing Internet access to everyone in India by making sure that they are working in a meaningful way that ensures a platform to add their voice to internet" He said.

In partnership with Railtel Google will bring wi-fi connectivity to 100 railway stations by December 2016 and Mumbai Central to go live by January. Railtel has signed an agreement with subsidiary of Google to provide wi-fi activities to 400 stations in India.
SundarPichai on his Maiden two days visit to India will meet President Dr. Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.He will address students at Delhi University college.Earlier he said Google is planning to expand its operations in India especially in engineering operations.He is planned to hire people for Bangalore and Hyderbad and they are also planning to build new campus in Hyderabad to build capabilities.
He also said that Google's efforts to help women get online , the company is expanding bicycle for women programme nationally . As a pilot project they are planning to expand the programme to cover three lakh villages in three years.
