Sonia Gandhi sharply attacks on Modi Government on Constitution day as principles of Constitution are under attack
Sonia Gandhi on Loksabha led the opposition today in a special discussion on the Constitution day on Parliament convened for the winter session.With a Sharp attack on "Rising intolerance" on Modi Government Mrs Gandhi said "There is a threat to the principles of the Constitution these
days...What we have seen from the past few months, is against the values of the constitution," She also said

"No matter how good the Constitution is, if the people
who implement it are bad, then the Constitution will also turn out bad.
And no matter how bad the Constitution is, if the people who implement
it are good, it will turn out to be good,"."The
history of the Constitution is very old and is linked to our freedom
struggle and that it why it is interlinked with the Congress party," she
said also speaking about Dr Ambedkar.
She said Dr Ambedkar had praised the discipline of the Congress that helped the drafting committee."There can be no better decision to make Dr Ambedkar the chairman of the
Drafting Committee. Dr Ambedkar said in his concluding statement. I was
surprised when I was chosen as the chairman. There were more learned
and better people than me in the Committee," she said.
The Parliament's Winter session began on Thursday. Both
the Houses of the parliament paid tribute to Dr B.R.Ambedkar who is the
Principal architect of the Indian Constitution and celebrating 125th
centenary.Earlier Home Minister Rajnath singh started the discussion in Loksabha.
Before the session began Prime Minister Narendra Modi said "Debate and Dialogue are the soul of parliament" and he expressed his hope that "The Parliament Session will function this time with good debates,discussions,innovative ideas with out adjournments".
