IIT Kharagpur was rated the most employable Institute in India:QS Survey

IIT Kharagpur was rated the most employable institute in India with Impressive parameters like good graduate employablity rate and employers presence as according to International Survey for Higher educations in our country.It is the only other institute apart from IIT Bombay to make it top 100 in graduate employability rankings.

Quacquarelli Symonds(QS), Released its first ever Grduate employability rankings in Melbourne Young Universities Forum on Thursday with IIT Kharagpur at 77 and IIT Bombay at 93.The other institutes like IIT Madras at 119,IIT Delhi at 160 and university of Delhi at 175.Stanford  University,MIT,Hardvard University,University of Cambridge and Yale University holds top five ranks in the survey.

IIT Kharagpur has the highest number of placement officers for the year 2015-16 which drew the attention of the Survey.The Survey also took account the fact that it has the highest number of graduates among IIT's and on an average 1500 of its students gets job every year with good compensation packages.The Director PP Chakraborty told that the students of IIT Kharagpur are talented and it is our interdisciplinary approach and Industrial internships that makes our students ready for their new jobs.

In this survey they analyzed more than 44,000 responses from 1,239 universities for a year by considering several parameters like employers reputation,Partnership with employers,alumni outcomes,Employers presence and Graduate employement rate.IIT Kharagpur scores 51.0 , University of Liverpool Scores 53,University of Lancaster scores 52.9 and Pennsylvania state university scores 52.
