India celebrates 72nd Republic Day amidst Covid-19 Pandemic

On Occasion of 72nd India's Republic Day The Tricolor was unfurled at Delhi's Rajpath in presence of President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday.

India's Rafale Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter,The Samvijay electronic warfare system took part in the Republic Day flypast for the first time as the arm forces showcased its T-90 tanks.A Total of 32 Tableaux and 17 various states and UT's,nine of ministries and six from the defence arm. The Union Territory that was created in 2019 after bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir were also included.
With Covid-19 protocols in the place this year Republic Day celebrations has a different look. Only 25,000 spectators were allowed. Children Parade and Motorbike stunts were missing this year. The Marching contingents were reduced from 144 to 96.
