ISRO Successfully launches heaviest rocket GSLV- MK3 in to Space

India's heaviest rocket Geo Synchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV)- Mark 3 along with the communications satellite GSAT-19 was launched successfully in the satellite orbit space by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) at 5:28 PM on Monday. The Rocket was lifted to an altitude of around 179km above earth in a shorter time frame.

GSLV-MK3 Rocket is weighing  640 Tonnes , standing 43.43 meters tall and Communication satellite weighs 3, 136 kg has blasted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. 

The Director of Space Applications center Mr Tapan Mishra expresses his happiness and compares the successful launch of GSLV-MK3  that India has given birth to a " Bahubali". He also mentioned that India has mastered the C25 cryogenic Technology which has made India to join an elite group of nations and get the greater share of the multi-billion dollar space market

ISRO Scientists also said that this is Make in India Launch vehicle and this mission success will enable India to launch four-tonne satellites on own rocket to execute operations rather than depending and spending huge amounts for  International foreign space agencies.  The countdown for launching this heaviest rocket launch of 25 hours 30 minutes began at 3:58 PM on Sunday.
