PM Narendra Modi has received Red carpet welcome and guard of honour in Russia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Red-carpet welcome and a guard of honour when he arrived in Vnukova II airport, Moscow for a first bilateral visit to Russia. Both Countries are set a raft of deals with a series of programmes in various key sectors like defence, nuclear energy ,hydrocarbons,science and Technology and Mining Sectors between Modi and Russian President Putin to boost their robust and close partnership.

India-Russia Talks

India and Russia are setting up the economic engagement and expanding ties in various strategies on their 16th India-Russia annual summit talks between them on Thursday.Both the leaders are set to deliberate on various global issues such as situation in Syria and also in tackling global terrorism.

It is expected mutual cooperation on major pacts in defence, nuclear energy and security sectors between two countries should be finalized.Russia has been India's biggest supplier of arms. India has started buying military hardware from US from the past few years.Trades between India and Russia will increase which will benefit not only two nations but also the World.
