Delhi Government clears Anna Hazare's Proposed Jan Lokpalbill

Anna Hazare's Proposed Jan Lokpal Bill  on 2015 was cleared with out any changes by the Delhi Government on Wednesday. It is paving the way towards the creation of anti-graft ombudsman will be tabled soon by Delhi Assembly.

The Bill with all the provisions will be purviewed by the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and then Business Advisory committee will take a call on when to table the bill.A Senior government official said the Delhi Government will put all  its efforts to get Jan Lokpal Bill passed in the Ongoing Winter session.

Earlier the Opposition leader Vijendar Gupta tried to corner the government over non tabling of the bill on the floor house and the government's move was made out of compulsion.Congress chief Ajay maken said any dilution of the original bill will not be accepted .

The Aam Admi Party traces its roots to Jan Lokpal movement which was spearheaded by AnnaHazare. This bill was introduced in the Delhi Assembly on February 2014 and Arvind Kejriwal resigned as it doesn't get support to pass in the Assembly.
