Annual Pavitrotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanoor will take place from September 6 to September 8 with Ankurarpanam on September 5.

The Significance behind performing "Pavitrotsavams" every year is to seek the pardon of the diety for any act of commission and Omission committed inadvertently by the priests, by the temple authorities and by the visiting piligrims and restore the purity in its original pristine form through the prescribed ritual Pavitrotsavams.
On the Other hand The Annual Brahmotsavams of Tirumala Lord Venkateswara is also about to Take place from September 26 to October 4.The Brahmotsavams are one of the most important auspicious festivals which was first conducted by Lord Brahma on the holy swamy Pushkarini in Tirumala as a Thanks giving to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara for protecting the mankind in Kaliyuga that draws the captive attention of millions of devotees for a period of Nine-days.
