Indians get hit earlier with the Heart Disease - Says US Study
The Scientific Picture of Heart Diseases in their ongoing study in US said that Indians get hit earlier with the heart disease and the average age of heart patient in India is 52 years.In the backdrop of World-Health Day on Monday Heart failure and atrial fibrillations are the two relatively new heart conditions they began tracking.
The survey was conducted and they found almost every second patient has high blood pressure,every fourth has diabetics and fifth had plaque deposits in his/her arteries.Earlier the Average age is much higher in the Seventies.

The study also says that among 85,295 patients who clocked 2.11 lakh visits to out-patient departments of 15 hospitals from Mumbai to Patna over last 2 years 2 Months. of these patients in both urban and rural areas around 60,836 were found to have a heart disease.
Out of 13,077 patients with diabetics ,32% of the diabetic patients had narrowed arteries or coronary artery disease ,10% of them had heart failure and 70% had hyper tension.& corresponding non-diabetic patients are half and Actual number of diabetics patients with heart complications would run into millions in country
