“A Balance between State Representation, Efficiency of ministers and continuity” Says PM

“It’s a balance between state representation, Efficiency of ministers and continuity” says Prime Minister Manmohan Singh about his New Cabinet.After swearing in ceremony at Rastrapati Bhavan PM said he hopes that today’s reshuffle is last before we go to general elections which is going to be held in 2014.

Dr Manmohan singh also told that Rahul Gandhi had also been invited to join the government but he preferred to work for the party.He also reached regarding DMK that he kept two seats for them and he hopes that their decision will come soon.

Dinesh Trivedi of Trinamool congress has given the Railways Ministry After the post was vacated by Party chief and CM Mamata Banerjee. Jairam Ramesh Moves from Environment to Rural Development.Jayanthi Natarajan is appointed as Minister of state with Independent charge for Environment.Vilas Rao Deshmukh moves from Rural development to Science and Technology.Veerappa Moily moves from Law to Corporate affairs. Salman Khurshid takes oath as a Law Minister with additional charge of Minority Affairs were among the Major changes in the Cabinet.
