Andhra Pradesh government aims to showcase Powerful presence of MSME's and Startups in Global Investors Summit 2023

The Andhra Pradesh government is conducting two day Global Investors Summit 2023 on March 3 and 4 at Visakhapatnam. The main theme of this Global Investors Summit is " Advantage Andhra Pradesh - Where Abundance meets prosperity". The aim of AP government is to achieve remarkable growth in the Industrial Sector.

At the Summit AP government will showcase its booming presence of MSMEs , Startups , Good Infrastructure Facilities, Favorable Business friendly environment, Industry focused policies, Young and Skilled pool of talent. The state government has also held several road shows in Chennai, Mumbai and Bengaluru to attract investors.

The government is going to extend its support to MSMEs to the fullest as they are backbone of the economy and Job creation. In the last four years, more than 3000 crores of financial incentives has been released to MSMEs under various schemes. 

The government is committed in ensuring the progress of existing MSMEs and also aiming to create 20,000 more MSME units with more than 5 lakh jobs creation. There has been a gradual increase in MSME development and job creation opportunities in the state. In three years 37956 MSME units have grown to 60800 units employing 5,61,235 from 4,04,939 in 2019.

AP is focusing more on various high growth potential sectors like Agriculture, Defense, Aerospace, Food Processing. Automobiles, Information Technology, Electronics, EVs , Healthcare, Medical Equipment , Logistics, MSME, Petroleum, Startups, Pharma, Renewable Energy Hospitality, Textiles and Tourism

The state government has ranked  first in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) for the last three years. The State government has launched two schemes called "YSR Cheyutha and YSR" to support women entrepreneurs. The government has  also set a target of grounding 100 clusters in the next two years out of which 52 clusters are proposed to be established during the FY 2022-23.

As according to the numbers AP has recorded the highest double digit GSDP growth rate @ 11.43%  in 2021-22. AP has maritime infrastructure and it is also called as India's gateway to the south east with 974 km coastline which is the second largest in the country. 

AP has now 6 ports and 4 more are upcoming. Three of eleven industrial corridors are being built in the state.AP has also received the Inertia Award for Energy 2022, The LEADS award for Logistics 2022,The ET Award for port led and the infrastructure project  2022.

Indian Air Force has successfully Conducted a trail run on Emergency landing Facility on Andhra Pradesh National Highway

Indian Air Force has successfully conducted a trail run onThurday for the 4.1 newly constructed Emerging landing Facility(ELF) on Andhra Pradesh National highway. The landing place was constructed near Picchikalagudipadu village of  Korishapadu Mandal, Bapatla  district in Andhra Pradesh state on National Highway-16

Indian Air Force fighter and transport aircraft carried out practice flying including circuit approach and overshoot on NH-16 of Andhra Pradesh on Dec 29. A Transport plane AN-32, Two Sukhoi fighter planes and Two-Tejas light fighters participated in the Trail.

As according to the report The runway is perfect for landing. There is still work pending for the runway which includes road safety and also prevention of entry for people and animals.Indian Air Force in coordination with the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is resolving issues such as painting on the runway and to look after surface consistency.

A strong security with 200 police personnel was provided for the trail run. From 10.30 AM till Noon the vehicles coming on the National Highway was diverted. The aircraft flew at a height of 100 meters without touching the ground.

KCR is back:A.P on high alert with a two day Telangana Bandh

Andhra Pradesh is on high alert with a two day Telangana bandh.Hyderabad, the Capital of AP is bracing yet again for another bandh. All the schools and Colleges are closed and There are prohibitory orders in some parts of city.72 Companies of central forces are rushed in to AP for security purposes.Student Rallies have also announced for thursday and rail blockades are also planned for friday and Saturday. On 10th July 10 community kitchens will be set up on all roads in all districts of telangana.

TRS Chief K.Chandrasekhar Rao yet again faxed his resignation to the Loksabha speaker late yesterday and he is expected to meet the speaker in a couple of days. TRS is striding to declare war against central government.On Monday there are so many political resignations across all the parties of telangana region.11 Mps and 43 MLAs of congress.33 Members from TDP Party also resigned along with 4 Rebel TDP MLA's also resigned yesterday.Andhra Pradesh Contributes maximum number of congress Mps to the centre after UP.
Telangana Region
 KCR warned publically yesterday that “Buses and Trains will not Move.Telangana will be like a furnace from Tuesday onwards”. He also appealed Prime Minister to take necessary steps for the Telangana state Formation .Political Analysts say that if there are still more resignations happens Presidential rule may have to be considered in Andhrapradesh.
